With expert innovation in taking a traditional design and giving it a modern update, Honshu takes the wakizashi to a new level with the addition of a sub-hilt. The Sub-Hilt Wakizashi has a 20 3/8” carbon steel blade, which extends from a carbon steel handguard, backed by the carbon steel sub-hilt. The TPR handle is heavily textured and ridged for a no-slip grip and the hefty carbon steel pommel features a lanyard hole. The 28 1/8” overall sub-hilt wakizashi can be stored and carried in a wooden scabbard with a semi-gloss, black finish and faux leather wrapping.
