The Colombian Survival Spear features an SK5 high carbon steel blade with a black oxide coating and satin finish edge that has been welded to thick injection-molded nylon with a fiberfill shaft. The virtually indestructible fiberglass-filled nylon handle shaft is much stronger will not loosen up like the cheap wood shafts found on other Samburu-style spears.
